Post graduate studies
Being
honest, I'd like to make a postgraduate study finishing my career, but i'd
really like to study another pregraduate too. I've always being interested in
literature, I really like it very much, and considering the world about my
career (that is social work) I don´t think that could be possible to
make postgraduate studies in literature and related things having a social worker
degree. So, i have two options in that case. The first one is to study a master
related with social work and/or social science. I’ve been thinking in study in
another country in Latinoamerica, especially in Argentina where the University
of Buenos Aires is. I’ve been there and living there isn’t very expensive, even
is cheaper than living in Chile and cheaper than living In Europe, evidently.
Considering that to study is not the only thing that I would do in the process
of obtaining the degree, I like Argentina as a place to live there. From the
language, the culture, including the music, football, cinema, poetry and
literature own of the country, to the city, particularly Buenos Aires, its
streets, parks and places around. I love the idea of been far of the country
where I was born for a time too. This place has been taking very wrong ways
since 40 years at least and finishing my career I think that is time to get out
of it for a short time to breathe another air. Continuing the idea of a master,
I´d like to do it in “Social Intervention” or “Social and political theory”,
both courses of the Social Science School of the UBA. The both of them take two
years at least to obtain the degree.
My
second option would be to study literature here, in the University of Chile and
make a relation with social work starting of the creations and fictions.
